Drive the Positioning of the Agile Release Train (ART) within the Research and Development organization of Image Guided Therapy Systems (IGTs). The Release Train Engineer (RTE) is part of the Mechatronics Development Cluster (MDC) leadership team, and is responsible to drive SAFe rituals for our Release Train located in Best, The Netherlands.
The Mechatronics Development Cluster of the Business Unit Image Guided Therapy Systems within Philips. IGTs are responsible for the marketing, development and manufacturing of X-ray systems in the area of cardiac or vascular medical diagnosis and intervention (e.g. balloon angioplasty and stent procedures). Our department develops the mechatronics products for the x-ray systems. Examples for these products are our stands, tables, monitor ceiling suspensions, etc.
Customers are interventional specialists, in the cardiology and radiology domain operating in a wide variety of hospitals across the globe.
As RTE, you are member of the Positioning Agile Release train, that consists of 5 Software, 3 Hardware, a System Integration/Test, and a System Design/Architecture scrum team, in total around 90 highly skilled engineers.
