As a key member of the MR Systems Engineering team, you are responsible for overall technical leadership and for the technical realization of full systems product release and life cycle management.
This is a key role in an interdisciplinary environment, working with teams across the world.
You ensure that the customer and other stakeholders’ needs are satisfied in a high quality, reliable, dependable, cost-efficient manner throughout the entire product life cycle, meeting program schedules.
The result of your effort is a proven, balanced and documented system design, integrating the requirements of marketing, clinical application, industrial design, operations and service, resolving all relevant technical issues.

You will be part of the Global Magnetic Resonance (MR) business within Philips, which develops, markets, and manufactures Magnetic Resonance Imaging systems.
Our customers are operating in the diagnostic and interventional radiology domain in a wide variety of hospitals across the globe. You will be a leading team member of the global Systems Engineering group in R&D, which is responsible for top-level system design and realization. Close collaboration is required with the other functions in the project’s core team and many colleagues in the research and development team.
The Systems Engineering team is a global team of about 25 highly experienced and talented people. A team in which personal growth and development are stimulated and expected. We have high energy and passion for realizing major product improvements in order to provide our customers with diagnostic MRI solutions that make a difference in patients’ lives. You will be stationed in Best, The Netherlands.
